Take a small amount of cream using clean, dry fingers or a clean spatula. Avoid introducing excess water into the tin. Using a damp shaving brush, work the cream into a lather in a shaving bowl or directly over the wet beard. Add a little water to the brush as needed. Spread the lather evenly over the area to be shaved. Shave gently in the direction of hair growth, rinsing the razor regularly. Reapply lather before shaving over an area again. Rinse thoroughly and gently pat the skin dry. Wipe the tin's rim dry and close the lid securely after use.
